Claremont 2020 | A Class with Vision - UPDATE
Good Morning Parents and Guardians of Claremont Class of 2020,
I wanted to provide a quick update to you all as the events of the past weeks have obviously effected our graduating class and our after party. How this will look now is unknown, but as the weeks progress, and the restrictions are slowly lifted, we are given more information to work with.
With social distancing and restrictions, it has greatly impacted our ability to fundraise and we have been making some adjustments and will advise in the next week or so how this might look for the rest of the year. Dry grad Executive are committed to continuing our work on fundraising/planning an event, as we know how important it is for students and reaching this amazing milestone. The information on how we can proceed will become more clear in the coming weeks, and we are discussing with Mr Peter Westhaver often.
We may turn our 50/50 into a silent auction online so everyone has an opportunity to get involved. More information to come on this as well in the coming days. We do understand and recognize that many may be experiencing financial hardships with the current state of COVID19 and its impact on the economy and our city. We will need your involvement more than ever as this may be the only remaining way we are able to raise funds for the graduation celebration. Again, how this will look will be showcased in the coming days/week.
I encourage you all to participate in the Zoom meeting on April 28th at 7pm, so that you can be involved in providing the best possible solutions for our grads and hear the updates from the district and Mr. Westhaver.
Thank you all in advance for your continued support and stay well!
Your Claremont 2020 After Grad Committee
